香港是眾所周知的購物天堂，想買什麼都基本能買到，而且沒有消費稅，所以買海外的東西也沒有很貴，品牌選擇更是多不勝數。今次來說說在紐西蘭買衣服鞋襪。

已經來到紐西蘭兩年，但我完全沒有在這裡買過衣服，因為沒有我常買的品牌，而且款式不適合(我一直買日系衣服啊…)香港人比較熟悉的品牌只有H&M，Cotton On和Seed (Zara只有Auckland才有)。本地常見的連鎖衣服品牌是Glassons，Mirrou，Pagani，Country Road。但我覺得款式不太適合亞洲人(Cotton On是OK的)，尤其是夏季的太暴露了(還是我太保守?) 衣服價錢NZ$50以下只有減價才有。要買更便宜的衣服鞋襪就要到The Warehouse或Kmart。前者是紐西蘭本土公司，99%都是中國進的貨。後者大家應該很熟悉，是美國公司，紐西蘭Kmart是由Kmart AU開的，也是中國或東南亞進的貨。賣鞋的話有一間叫Number one shoes，十分便宜，我猜是中國進貨的因為質素很普通，想要質素好的至少都要NZ$200+。

實在接受不了紐西蘭本土服裝店的款式，只好去澳洲悉尼玩的時候順便到uniqlo和muji，雖然不便宜但起碼合我心意。現在我衣櫃99%都是由香港和日本買的衣服，完全沒有紐西蘭本土買的，剩下1%是Outdoor服裝，來自本土品牌Kathmandu，去outlet買還是能撿到便宜貨的，質素我覺得還不錯。

在紐西蘭其實不用打扮得很漂亮，反正大家也穿得不怎麼樣(笑)，等大減價時(Black friday和Thanksgiving)撿些便宜的就可以了~

這是在紐西蘭的“交通工具”，是隨時可以借，玩完了隨處都可以放下。在Wellington有兩間公司在做，Flamingo和JUMP(屬Uber)。而Auckland有LIME。在CBD常常看到穿西裝的男士在用。大家都知道外國的車費不便宜，而且班次很疏，有了這個電動滑板車，想去一些比較近的地方就方便了很多。價錢就還好，NZ$1解鎖滑板車，之後每分鐘NZ$0.3。以遊玩的角度來說價錢算合理。

This is one of the “public transportation” in New Zealand, it can be borrowed at any time, and can be put down everywhere after playing it. There are two companies in Wellington running this, Flamingo and JUMP (under Uber). And Auckland has LIME. Men in suits are often seen in the CBD riding it. Everyone knows that the transportation fee in western countries is not cheap and the buses are not frequent. With this electric scooter, it is convenient to go to some close places. I think the price is fair, it’s NZ$1 to unlock, then NZ$0.3 per minute. The price is reasonable if you are having fun.

臨近中秋，相信大家已經買月餅了吧? 那麼在海外的我們怎麼辦呢? 在澳紐是有美心月餅的，各款都有，但價錢翻倍。沒辦法，始終是進口的，在紐西蘭所有進口貨都很貴，因為太遠… 如果想便宜點，可買本地華人公司制造的月餅，跟美心月餅在香港賣的價錢差不多，但味道就不知道了，畢竟我還是寧願吃香港制造的。

還記得幾年前來旅行(當時還沒移民)正值中秋，過關時關員看到我們是華人就問有沒有帶月餅，我想是因為蛋黃不能進關，當然包含月餅。但今年政府一直都有說月餅能進關，但其他含蛋黃的酥餅類就不能進關。說實在的，月餅就是含蛋黃的酥餅呀，為什麼只有月餅能進呢? 對華人來說是蠻困惑的。

Near Mid-Autumn Festival, I believe everyone has bought mooncakes already? So how we buy that overseas? In Australia and New Zealand, there are Maxim mooncakes, all kinds are available, but the price doubles. It’s because thay are imported, all imported goods in New Zealand are very expensive, because we are too far away… If you want to buy cheaper mooncakes, you can buy the ones made by local Chinese companies, and the price is the same as the mooncakes selling in Hong Kong. But I am not sure about the taste. I prefer to buy the Hong Kong made mooncakes.

I still remember that when I came to travel a few years ago (I haven’t immigrated at that time), it was the Mid-Autumn Festival. When the customs officers saw that we were Chinese, they asked if we brought mooncakes. I think it was because of the egg yolk, including mooncakes. But this year the government has always said that mooncakes are fine, but other pastries containing egg yolks are not. To be honest, mooncakes are one of the pastries with egg yolks, but only mooncakes are fine. It is quite confusing for Chinese indeed.

眾所周知，杯麵是由日本發明的，然後普及到世界每一個各落。作為亞洲人，必定是很喜歡吃杯麵，尤其是亞洲每個地方都有不同味道的杯麵，又特別又好吃。但在紐西蘭，杯麵種類簡直不能比。價錢幸好不算很貴，最便宜1紐元一個，但就是很普通的味道，連合味道海鮮味也比不上。最便宜應該是maggi這品牌，應該是香港的“美極”吧? 然後我常吃的是indomie，香港人應該不陌生，我超愛它的撈麵! (而且在這邊的超市可以買到) 因為味道問題，有時我寧願貴一點都要去亞洲超市買香港常吃的口味。我只能說，我很掛念亞洲的杯麵啊啊啊啊!

As we all know, cup noodles were invented by Japanese. As an Asian, you must love eating cup noodles, especially there are different flavors in all Asian countries. They are special and delicious. But in New Zealand, the type of cup noodle is simple. Fortunately, the price is not very expensive, the cheapest one costs NZ$1, but it is a very normal taste. The cheapest one should be “maggi”. I often eat “indomie”, Hong Kong people should be so familiar with this brand, I love the dry noodles! (And this can be bought at the supermarket) Because of the taste, sometimes I would rather go to the Asian supermarket to buy the ones that I ate in Hong Kong. I can only say that I miss the cup noodles in Asia!

惠靈頓的風是世界有名的，天氣差的時候陣風可以達到100km/h或以上，等於香港的十號風球。這是因為地勢，當風由西向東吹過Cook Strait(庫克海峽)時，速度會因為路線收窄而加快，型成風河。根據網上資料，1952年北島最強的陣風記錄為每小時154英里(248km/h)。我試過大風時出門，我站着時風會把我吹動，如果迎着風走路會走不動，反而被吹到向後走…頭髮也吹亂，不綁起來就像貞子一樣…喜歡感受風的人請來惠靈頓吧😂

Wellington’s wind is famous in the world. When the weather is bad, the gust can reach 100km/h or above, which is equal to Hong Kong’s typhoon signal No.10. This is because when the wind blows through the Cook Strait from west to east, the speed will be accelerated by the narrowing of the path, forming a river of wind. According to online source, the strongest gust in the North Island was recorded at 154 miles/hour (248 km/h) in 1952. I tried to go out when the wind was strong. The wind can move me when I stand still. If I walk against the wind, I can’t move forward. Instead, I move backward by the wind. The wind also would blown my gmhair in chaotic if not tied up. People who like to feel the wind, please come to Wellington.😂

話說這幾天在下雨，雨勢有時頗大，但紐西蘭人是不喜歡撐傘的，無論是多大的雨，都只是套上外套上的帽子，我甚至見過赤腳(他們真的不嫌髒嗎?) 有一次雨下得很大，那我很自然拿出傘子來撐(就是上面圖上那把傘)，附近也沒其他人撐傘，然後聽到後面的外國女生說“Oh it’s very cute”… 在香港我從來沒覺得這傘子很可愛，這種傘子在香港(或其他亞洲地區)算是普通的，比這個可愛的有更多，但來到紐西蘭就變了很cute😂

It’s raining these days, the rain is sometimes quite big, but the New Zealanders seems don’t like using umbrellas. No matter how large is the rain, they just put on the jacket hats. I even saw they walk on bare feet in the rain (they really don’t think it’s dirty?) One day the rain was so big, I took out the umbrella (that’s the one on the picture above), there was no others using umbrellas. And then I heard a girl behind me said “Oh it’s very cute”… I never think that this umbrella is cute in Hong Kong. This kind of umbrella is quite common in Hong Kong (and other Asian countries too). There are a lot umbrellas that’s cuter than this one, but it has becomes very cute in New Zealand.😂

在夏天，整個紐西蘭我也找不到一雙拖鞋，只有Daiso有(因為是日本的店)，所以前段時間回香港特意去買拖鞋，但一回到紐西蘭就看到有拖鞋賣(如圖)😒，氣死我了! 原來是因為進入冬天才有這些“毛毛拖鞋”賣，夏天的時候是沒有的，我記得當初住airbnb時，屋主的確在家是赤腳的!

In summer, I wanna buy a pair of slippers but couldn’t find one, I only saw that in Daiso (a Japanese shop), so I buy it from HK eventually. But when I come back to Wellington, I saw it all around (as pic)!😒 I found that slippers is something only be sold on winters, only the fluffy ones. There is none in summer, and I remember the gost of my airbnb in Auckland really didn’t wear slippers at home!
